Sixteen districts in Pakistan's Punjab province, and two districts in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province are Saraiki speaking areas/ Saraikistan, namely: Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Bhakkar,  Dera Ghazi Khan, Dera Ismail Khan, Jhang, Khanewal, Khushab, kot Addu,  Layyah, Lodhran, Mianwali, Multan, Muzaffargarh,  Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Tank,  Vehari,, Other than these regions Saraiki is also native language in the Tandlianwala, Pindi Bhattian, Mandi Bahauddin ,
Chiniot, Okara, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Sargodha,  Toba Tek Singh, Chakwal district, Jand, Pindi Gheb, Rarasham, Barkhan, Jaffarabad, Naseerabad, Jhal Magsi, Ghotki, Kashmore, Jacobabad. In India Fazilka and Sriganganagar are also Saraiki. The population of Saraikistan is 6 carore.


Govt of Pakistan is not conducting census. According to the Census of Pakistan in 1998 the Population of Saraiki Region was 40 million, where the total population of Pakistan was 135 million. To day the population of Saraiki Region is 60 million. The non-Saraiki in Saraiki Region are equal to the Saraiki People in Punjabi region. So there are 60 million Saraiki people. In Sindh there are 20 million Saraiki people. Hence in Pakistan the Saraiki people are more than 80 million. If we count other dialects similar to Saraiki this Population may cross 100 million.
